Shaker liners play a central role in the separation process within harvesting machines—particularly in combine harvesters equipped with bar shakers. These shakers are used to separate grain kernels from straw.

Their structured, often jagged geometry actively loosens the straw and, through the oscillating motion, directs it specifically toward the rear. Due to the oscillating motion, remaining grains are released, and grain losses are reduced or optimized. Depending on the crop type—such as wheat, rapeseed, or corn—customized shaker liner designs are used.
