Graepel-Stabil has a C-shaped profile. The surface features 45 mm long, upward-facing olive-shaped openings with serrated edges. The profile height is 9 mm, with an open area of approx. 50%. Despite its large void volume and excellent drainage properties, this pattern features a 15 mm barrier. (A ball ≥ 15 mm cannot fall through.) Graepel-Stabil has been certified to the highest slip resistance class. Due to the large embossing height, Graepel-Stabil has high transverse stiffness of the grating surface, which allows for panel widths of up to 886 mm.
Use
This pattern is universally suitable for use as a safety grating on surfaces, walkways and platforms. It is designed for outdoor applications, as its slip resistance is largely unaffected by snow and slush. Graepel-Stabil is recommended for use in the renewable energy sector and in both offshore and onshore applications.
Stair treads and ladder rungs are also available with the Graepel-Stabil pattern.
