The Graepel-Perl has a C-shaped, angled contour. The surface is closed. The name derives from the pearl-shaped, hemispherical embossments on the upper surface. These are arranged in staggered rows and have a diameter of 5 mm. The embossing provides a degree of slip resistance and displacement, but no drainage. The maximum embossed panel width is 475 mm for programme-controlled gratings and 625 mm for non-programme-controlled gratings.
Use
Graepel-Perl embossed gratings are suitable for use as flooring on surfaces and platforms in public and industrial settings where solid surfaces are required. They are particularly recommended for indoor use. Graepel-Perl does not allow objects to pass through. This embossed pattern is recommended wherever objects must not fall through and where people walk in delicate footwear.
This pattern can even be walked on barefoot. In the stainless steel version, it is suitable for use in swimming pools.
Stair treads and ladder rungs are also available in the Graepel-Perl pattern.
