The Graepel-Garden spiral stair tread is available in two versions:
- for on-site welding
- with a welded step tube that can be fitted directly onto a central stair tube. This version complies with standard DIN EN ISO 1461.
The Graepel-Garden spiral staircase step is made of steel (DD 11) and is suitable for use in public areas. It is designed for a uniform load of 5 kN/m² and a point load of 1.5 kN on a 200 x 200 mm area.
Spiral stair treads with tread tubes are supplied with tread bolts and screws.
The surface features hemispherical embossings facing upwards (d=4 mm) and punched holes facing downwards with a diameter of 8 mm, arranged in staggered rows. The open area is approx. 9%, meaning this stair tread offers a certain degree of slip resistance and displacement, as well as good drainage properties. The tread is suitable for walking on barefoot.
