Graepel develops and manufactures its products from sheet steel, with a high proportion of manual and technical work. A safe, fair, and healthy workplace is essential for this. That is why we combine our business activities with clear measures in the area of social sustainability.

The focus is on respectful treatment, health protection, employee participation, and opportunities for professional development. These principles apply to all locations and areas of operation.

Occupational Health and Safety

Health and safety are top priorities at Graepel, particularly in the production of perforated sheet metal, sheet metal parts, and assemblies. Machinery, the work environment, tools, and processes are designed to minimize risks and promote ergonomic solutions. Our subsidiary GPI in India is certified to ISO 45001. The occupational health and safety management system establishes mandatory procedures for risk assessments, prevention, and continuous improvement.

At our German locations, a workplace health management program complements these structures. This includes offerings related to prevention, physical activity, ergonomic consulting, and mental health support.

Training and Collaboration

The production of perforated sheet metal and sheet metal parts requires skilled professionals. We invest in training, internal courses, and continuing education. Topics include workplace safety, quality, energy efficiency, and technical expertise.

Employees are given the opportunity to take on responsibility and develop both professionally and personally. At the same time, we foster a culture of collaboration in which teams share knowledge and work together to develop solutions to technical and organizational challenges.
