Engineering and Projects

In doing so, they work hand in hand with customers as well as with production, purchasing, sales, and customer service. The engineering and projects team collaborates with the customer right from the system development phase and consistently identifies new opportunities for optimization with often surprising suggestions.
Shopping
Purchasing is a combination of strong negotiation skills and a high sense of responsibility. Anyone who procures several tons of steel of various types and grades every month must have a keen sense of market dynamics. It is a demanding and important task—one that requires balancing both customer requirements and Graepel’s interests.
Customer Service
This is where everything comes together. What goes into the machine, when, and how? Production planning, order processing, and administrative tasks related to orders present unique challenges. At the same time, the work is very varied and requires close collaboration with others. Excellent service is often the deciding factor in day-to-day operations.
Sales
Here, customer needs and a handshake still matter. The Sales Desk and Key Account Management—comprising both in-house and field staff—are primarily responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our customers and securing new orders. Sales is the hallmark of our strong reputation and, at the same time, the driving force behind new initiatives. Furthermore, it conveys to our partners the concept and added value of collaborative and intelligent engineering work.
HR (Human Resources)
